is spring break an economic problem for parents?

spring break----is it an economic problem for parents?  probably teachers love it--but how about parents?  have school districts ever asked parents if they want the extra child care expense when they just got finished paying for Christmas vacation--I say, give parents a break when they want it, not teachers.
